Quantization Examples

original (16 bit sound):

linear midtread quantization:

9 bits: paperjam9.wav , noise9.wav
8 bits: paperjam8.wav , noise8.wav
7 bits: paperjam7.wav , noise7.wav
6 bits: paperjam6.wav , noise6.wav
5 bits: paperjam5.wav , noise5.wav
4 bits: paperjam4.wav , noise4.wav
3 bits: paperjam3.wav , noise3.wav
2 bits: paperjam2.wav , noise2.wav
Here is the a soundfile which records only the sign of the original file:paperjam1.wav this is 1 bit of quantization, but calculated differently than the other quantization examples.
